I feel you my man. It's tough to find real record spots in the city. High Voltage when they first opened had some fresh stuff at good prices...now that the owner tried to figure us out, he started charging more and more. oh well.

If you want some dope records and someone to chill with, you need to hit up Zac Hendrix...he's the homey and definately has the joints for everyone.

Tacoma has the records, you just need to know how to get em!

Not since respect closed, don't do to musch diggin' in Seattle. If i go anywhere outs side of Tacoma, its Portland...or hit up a couple spots when I am traveling for work. Golden Oldies has gotten alot better since they moved from South Tacoma Way.

yep yep...for the hip hop cuts you usually got to travel outside of Tacoma, but even this dj I met at Platinum (very expensive shop) in seattle said he hit the tac for those older and sometimes hard to find cuts. Trying to link up with the night owl speak...didn't make it there but pdx in general does it right when it comes to black plastic... they even got this co-op thing were they put out a pamphlet with a map of all the shops and a little bio on each one. Plus++++ I don't know about all the spots but everyday is open til late, what's really good!!!

I'm about to cop one of those portable numarks and see what up with the border towns this winter. El Paso here I come.......
