    What up Jiant - I haven't dug up a Phil Ranelin LP yet...His Time is Now LP is a dope record though....I'm headed over to the eastern side of the mountains today, I'll make sure to dig out there...if I find one, I'll pick it up for you.

    Last couple weeks: Bellingham and 6th Ave....The Mike James was a hook up via House of Records...10.00. If you see it...pick up that Candi Staton, as it has Monty Stark(Stark Reality) on vibes and Keys. Joao Danato was courtesy of Bellingham's low key vibe....I just wrote an article for Wax Poetics(Japan) and got a box of 1st issues for contribution.     I'd dig a copy...wax poetics is one of the few publications out there doin it right. I love how the old labels are trying to capitalize on their old cataloge. I've written a few articles for Hiphop Nation out of Barcelona when I was living in Chile. I'd trade that for another but I'm not sure if you can read spanish...ha...well what eva. Talked with my boy from pdx and we are def bout to hit up night owl come april. Yo whats good with hiroshima and the Yellowjackets...years? covers? title? anything to look out for.

    no entendi a todo pero spanglish de los mexicanos ta muy differente que los chileno-pos. jajjajaja...we should def trader-raid mags anyway...mags got hella cool spanish graff in them so its worth the trade if you still got one lef. I got wax, but if you mean do I got hiroshima or yellow jacket wax, that would be a no. My uncle is a jazz head and he hooks me with a digging grocery list. But all I've found were a few 80's cuts. Don't know if that's the shit or not. Apparently hiroshima is this japanese jazz band.
    aye yo and check this...my uncle says that the thing about Jimmy Smith that's so Jimmy Smith "It's the notes that he doesn't play."

    i got a nice stack in santa cruz last night. i got a bunch of les mccann stuff, some benny green, horace silver, jimmy mcgriff, umm. i dont know what else, i cant remember. this place logos was pretty dope. it's like a half priced books with way better records! there was another place that was all records but i didn't hit it up becuase it was closed when i rolled into town. it looked dope though! i am going to try and hit that place before i head back tomorrow.

    Bout to spot check CA in a minute... Yo who knows Tall Black Guy, he's a producer out of Chicago I first caught wind of last year at Big Tune championships. He hooked me with a demo and...I mean no disrespect what so ever...but this shit is on par or at least makes me feel like I'm hearing dilla all over for the first time. Very atmospheric and like my homes would say...SLUMPIN! Go to his myspace to hear what's really good with a soulful beat.

    The cleanest copy I've seen in a loooooooonnnnnnggggggg time in the stores...High Voltage had this, but they were asking $45 for it....Couldn't believe they were asking that much....but I knew I'd find a better copy....
