I have a billion memories and so many things i hold close to my heart but for now i'll just speak on the older ones
I remember when auras had an afro and was in iron clad
I remember writing fall sky with Fice and selling Chapter one at PLU
I remember when me sawchosiz, fice and my friend mamic rolled up to see the brainstorm battle with atmosphere and one man army performing. We were freestyling and when sawchosiz was rapping he saw a dicks burgers sign and said what do they sell there? dildos. shit was classic. i have a video of it somewhere.
I remember when I was sawchosiz's favorite local rapper
I remember skipping my senior prom to go to Lords of the Floor with fice and the night before we bumped busdriver and went and bombed some concrete blocks. both of our pieces suck but are still up.
I remember going to wherehouse music off of 38th because they were the only place with any underground distribution back in 99 and 2000 and just buying CD's I had only heard of and never actually listened to. I bought blackalicious-NIA, MF Doom-Doomsday, Haiku De'tat, Company Flow, Cannibal Ox, Sole-Bottle of Humans and more, all off of the strength of a recommendation.
I remember kicking it at Jason Hulen's dorm room while he watched Dragon Ball Z
I remember nasty nate and anomaly. Two of the best emcee's that didn't do anything in the Tac but could have easily.
I remember when maly used to battle and we used to have emcee battles on the regular. some of which i got ripped at, others i got jerked at and others i won.

... Dance Broomz beat Massive Monkees in the semi finals of PLU 6 which turned into one of the craziest b-boy battles I've ever seen in person
... me and Jneek from Dance Broomz rollin' with Clone while he went bombing at the 56th skate park in the middle of the night and some Crips rollin' up on us in 2002
... the Cedarcrest Jr. High MC/B-Boy battles, PLU 1 on a Thursday night, and the Lincoln High School MC/B-Boy battles
... when The Underworld was amazing
... writing Fall Sky with Can-U in my room at my old house when we were 19
... hearing about Redman and Method Man walking around The Tacoma Mall
... finding out that the old school Tacoma b-boy crew Total Action called out and battled Rock Stready Crew at the Tacoma Dome in like 89 when Janet Jackson was on tour
... Can-U being in one of my classes, but not knowing he was into hip hop, and then spotting him outside of a Dilated Peoples concert in Seattle
... playing Tony Hawk with Auras and Othello of Lightheaded in a dorm room the night that I met them back in the day
... Niles' old house which was a really dope spot
... DJ Reign being in jail for 4 months and having 4 months of peace with no reverb haha

Kona Sohs bombing the front of store at like 3pm on 21st and driving by thinking was that really what I just saw..
Driving through the Tacoma main yard with Niles blasting death metal and flickin cars..
Refer muggin me in the underworld with Big Orgen when I was to little to defend myself...
Driving up to the autoracks in the port with Dkon and painting with the lights on...
When Solid colds were rollin through the yards..
Simply bullshitting with Union Pacific yard workers walking thru yards with them...
BNSF CREW at the waterfront!!
I simply remember pre 9/11 era...this whole world is different. Its kinda bittersweet ya know...Seemed like shit sucked then but compared to now its a totally different story.

Oh shit RatRace! I remember that shit. headlights on the train cars. That was such a dope spot.
My girl and I were rolling around the waterfront after going to the zoo yesterday and I remembered some shit. Remember that little building right after you come out of the tunnel? Sort of up on the hill? And we painted that 1492 up there? 1492 was the shit. Hands down the best crew I pushed with.

i worked at the chambers golf course all summer 5 days a week from 8-3, and i would end half of those days going to the creek and skimming. dash point is really nice too though, thats where i first went skimming with my older brother.

I remember when NWA played at MAXIM's on Bridgeport in UP of all places...kinda. 88? I think. Maxim was a teen dance hall, that did a hip hop night, a new wave night, a top 40 night, etc. I think someone got shot too.
