    get b-boys emcees and djs maybe writers from all over for an all night battle

    I think a 4 battle event would be dope, it's always a delicate thing to get that many battles going on with one event.

    WE learned at the PLU battles to really limit the number of MCs, limited it to 8 at the final 3 battles. if they have no skill, they don't touch the mic.

    the bboys were always all out cause we had so many heads come out. i think we had 17 crews of 10 or more signed up at PLU 10.

    The NW Noise (beat battle) was dope. that was a mad fun night...good old humpty hump, one be lo....Sabzi did kill that night.

    a beat battle would be dope....or somehow do a beat and mc battle and have the emcees rhyme over the beats that the producers bring. kind of do both at once. im sure that would be confusing though.

    i dunno about having a bigger scene man. it may be more organized in some ways but i havent seen any crowds like what plu was bringing in.

    I think the scene in tacoma now has way more knowledge on how to throw good events. I think people just need to get support. it's the same thing everyone faces, it seems that everyone is after themselves and their own agenda. Lay down the agendas and make things happen. Support the people that are trying to make things happen and get out to some shows. Now I should take my own advice and get out to a show, so I'll try to get out there Reign to support! : )

    who specifically needs to recruit cats? i hope you dont mean reign and I. Fresh Blends has had new talented performers every show and we try and link with anyone and everyone. Theres more avenues we need to explore for promotion. but hopefully things will continue to fall into place.
