    Heres how this works, what would your ideal lineup for a show that would bring a crowd be. Underground only. Lets try to be realistic here. Links to their myspaces help too. Lets try and pool together some info about people who we want to see perform here. This info will really help with people helping plan things such as "Fresh Blends" or any other hiphop event

    it wouldnt be too hard to get a line up going if we had a big budget.

    people under the stairs, el-p, brother ali, murs, blue scholars, del. but its just a matter of doing it.

    kenn starr is ill todd, as is kev brown, i like oddissee a lot too.

    Mixed lineup -- pick either rock or electronica and put together a really solid bill. You'll get fresh press, fresh audience and if it's done right, new fans. That's my advice -- do something new instead of trying to repeat an old formula, and get the press on it. If you go the rock side of things, get blogs like Three Imaginary Girls or SoundOnTheSound to cover it - they're widely read and not just by the Stranger crowd.

    Bronze Nazareth would be dope. He wouldn't remember me, but when he was first starting to get his name out in like 1999 or so, I had a radio show at PLU and we chatted it up once a week for probably 6 months or so. His stuff was mad fresh back then. I wonder i fI have his CDs that he sent me still. Now I need to go dig in my boxes!

    Mr Lif is the ill shit, I'd love to see him with some good local acts...Saints of Everyday Failures and the combination of Dragonfish and Rizeberg...Saints are still my favorite local group, maybe Gabe Teodros.

    Aite 4sho Im glad u up on shit. I got more east coast ears 2 b honest witcha , but yeah I fuccz tha whole re-up dey get it n 2 hard. But I think any of tha artists I named would work.     U gotta good point. I wuzz even thinkin like dat doe. I wuz thinkin 4rm a fans aspect not a promoters. If I wuzz thinkin promoter wise I would only bring niggas who I knew haad a good fanbase n tha Tac. Which would narrow my list considerablly. If I wuzz a promoter (which i plan 2 start doin @ some point) I would only bring like Spider Loc & 40 Glocc n dem up herre cuz dey r 4rm tha west coast niggas no about em n dey iz Crips which alwaze helps n tha Tac. There were a couple other niggas that fall n2 those categories on my list , but SPI & 40 have tha biggest buzzes yet dey aint exactly mainstream @ dis point so I think they would b tha best choice. And there are other ways to recoup other den ticcet sales. Which I would surely have 2 place above tha 5 dollar range. Only if northwest hiphop wuzz like tha northwest techno use 2 b. My pops iz Donlad Glaude idk if n e of u kno who dat iz but he use 2 make a killing up dere witt dem 30-50 dollar a ticcet super raves. Those were tha days...     Yeah hez more of a house dj now hez makin more money , but itz juss not tha same yennoe. Those raves that lasted long into tha next morning with thousands upon thousands there. Raves were drawin more den tha seahawks n tha raves glory days. I grew up around dat shit niggas dnt understand how real it wuzz. Dazz y I kinda got maad @ em when he said nobody listens 2 techno cuz dazz how i stayed fed , clothes , & housed. But now that he does house he iz out mostly in 21+ clubs but getting a lot more money but itz juss not tha same kinda money yennoe. And in some ways itz good.
