This is going to be on my ep but the current version is just something i threw together to get a feel for the track, lyrics are going to be the same just going to use a real mic. tell me what you think, more emotion? lol.

something is missing. i mean, its solid. but theres just something missing that would make it not a solid song, but a great song,... but i dont know... maybe one of the more musically advanced people on here could help out. its still a good song, i dont wanna sound like im just hating, because i really think you have talent

scmaltzy, you aren't hating, you are right.
i think once he gets these songs mixed and chopped up, hits some parts with some double overs, it will be a better song.
it sounds like you are using a computer mic? am i right on that pinnacle? if so, it will definitely make a difference to the quality of your sound with an actual recording mic, preferably condensed.
all in all man, you are on the right path. i am no professional by any means, but i know what mad potential is, and i think you have it buddy. keep workin, keep postin, i will keep giving you feedback

lol, nah i dont think your hating scmaltzy, your just giving constructive critism.
like, where would i hit it with the double overs? and can anyone give me a clue how to mix? because all im doing now is laying the vocals over the beat.

I guess technically I live in university place but I just consider it part of Tacoma. seeing how it actually was up until like 12 years ago or something like that.
