Shits pretty funky man, I dig the singsong vibe. That bassline is tight too!

But the chorus is kinda overly repetitive, maybe a variation on the lyrics and break it down in the middle? Somethin like that...

word. i know what you're sayin' about that chorus bein' repetitive. i think i just didn't realize cause when we play it live with the full band the band gets heavier and we end up practically screaming the chorus, so the dynamic changes enough throughout to make it less repetitive. ...maybe. but how do i replicate that in the recorded version..?

anyways, something to work on for me, thanks for the listen.

If you wanted to replicate the same sound you get live, why not layer the chorus with a room mic? Take all the members of your band and have them speak the chorus behind you. Slowly build their volume until they are screaming it. Or you could have them all do it on separate tracks. Either way it will add thickness and a different tone to the overall song. With the whole Nasty behind you, there will be a chorus effect within a chorus. Just don't change the words. I think the chorus is very poignant and if you changed it the content would suffer.

I do hear what Killswitch is saying about a bridge, perhaps in the middle of the song.

But make no mistake it's hot. Shorty what it do.
