hahaha 129 views and 3 comments. hella lurkers

  1.

wow, your getting ALOT better man. keep working on the cadence. but i like where its going

  2.

i agree that you have a lot of room for technical improvement w/ your music and your lyrics but i always like how you talk about completely different shit than most rappers

honestly tho i wanna hear you get looser and really bring it on those vocals, fucken rock that shit yung homie

you talk about frustration a lot but you sound emotionally autotuned. it's hard for me to believe that you care more about the topic than the track itself. i think denzel washington probably acts with the hope of feeding himself and his family, but he still manages to convince me that he's a dude in a wheelchair trying to bust the bone collector. even rick ross affects that drug money triumph naturally enough for me to suspend my disbelief. you sound like a rapper reading raps that he wrote to make rap songs so people could listen to him rap. not my earl gray but it sounds like it could make a "best of fresh blends" mixtape and it definitely sounds like that's your angle.

haha dawson sadly i agree with you. ive noticed the lack of emotion in my raps. im too worried about pronunciation and not enough about delivery and such. dawson check back in a hour or two and i will whisper you with something else i want your opinion on.

  3.

Good work. Everything sounds good. I agree with DFKS. All ya got to do is go in a little more. A little more emotion in the flow and it's a wrap.

  4.

yeah i think i agree with dawson, it got dull after awhile. there wasnt much emotion in your voice. it shows potential tho, and the quality was good. which is more than a lot of these dudes can say. keep grindin tho, i'll be watching.

  5.

    i listened to it.

singin was cool.the beat needs some break downs...

practice emotion on a track..you sound ansy and more hyped up then depressed on the track..so it's not believable.

listen to other rappers and how they sound on tracks like that to get an idea of what im talkin about.

for example on marvwons myspace page he gotta song with pain...and then he has a song where it's all humor.

dont try to be extra hype just use a deeper voice but more layed back...imo

try to write to the song instead of already having writtens for the song will help if u havent...

remember it's the way you say it thats the problem..so if i was cussin' up a storm in the style u just rapped i would get taken as a joke..

keep up the good work tho fam..

    peace

dawson, as somebody whos never been to a freshblends how about you chill with that and just give him some criticism instead of trying to degrade something you weren't apart of. i'm a hiphop fan too, this isn't from an artists perspective and i generally agree with everything that you have to say. but as a fan, there were some VERY good performances at fresh blends so dont badmouth it on some stupid shit.

it sounds like the type of music that would be lauded at fresh blends. i don't like that music, generally, but i like a few of your songs and everything i've heard from bruce leroy. i just wouldn't actively seek any of that stuff out. don't misread and misjudge. i try to say stuff pretty explicitly.

  6.

Haha dude said best of fresh blends mixtape...u should be a writer on a xxl mag column or sumthin.they really droppin a fb mixtape?

A fresh blends mixtape would be fuckin dope considering itd consist of blu, othello, fice, can-u, crown, bruce leroy, & xp to name a few... That's just from shows I remember... But clown fresh blends all u want...that mixtape is easily better than any mixtape out right now...

There was a lot of wack shit at Fresh Blends too. The Blu show wasn't a Fresh Blends show, Can-U threw that Blu show.

Oh yeah.... My bad.... Yeah fb did have some wack artists and alot of repeats....but it had a decent amount of dope artists.

see there are people who are into that shit. that dude said it'd be the best tape out right now. pinnacle seems to be in that same "[rapping about] rap as a humanitarian vehicle" lane at this point.

I'm just saying I'd rather listen to a fb mixtape (with the dope artists that have been to fb...not all artists) than a fabolous or lil wayne mixtape

  7.

"[rapping about] rap as a humanitarian vehicle"

i dont feel like a lot of 253 emcees are totally committed to that. i have a couple songs like that on my album. and can-u might have a couple. but you make it sound like tacoma has a bunch of rappers on some blue scholars, scribes, gabe teodros content and thats not the case.

  8.

Way better then some of your previous stuff. I will say you still got that typical white boy trying to rap flow pattern, but its getting better. It almost dissapears in a few spots. I will say its the best thing I've hurd from you so far. The beat sounds ok. Work on your patterns homie. Practice matching other patterns. You should be able to switch up to different patterns on the drop of a dime and mimic tons of different emcees. There is tons of progression on this track but I'm not gonna lie to you and tell you its a hit. But keep keep on.

i didn't mean to neglect the "regular guy" rappers. my humblest, yo.

i wasn't speaking on tacoma, by the way, but just the stable at fresh blends. i don't know shit about tacoma hip hop beyond what i've heard on this web site. if there's stuff more in the respective veins of second family or chris crayzie i'd like to see and support them.

A FRESHBLENDS MIXTAPE WOULD FAIL JUS LIKE THE SHOW. AND WHY DID IT FAIL IN THE FIRST PLACE...IT WAS WACK!

  10.

    @ PINNACLE

I WILL ACTUALLY ROLL WIT DAWSON ON THIS ONE AS WELL...STAY ON YO GRIND!

  11.

Sound Shop - FB was Local artists. Jay Barz, Logics, Island Trybe, Second Fam and moer. So your saying that those artists are wack? As i remember the last show was packed. Why dont you shut up already about the fresh blends and try to do something worth talking about.

  12.

The last show....LAST! Hey, tell your cuzin I said what up!
